Using photogrammetry, we generated 3D data of tea utensils based on photographs captured from 360 degrees. This allows users to explore the tea utensils in a 3D viewer on the web, even if they cannot physically hold them. Additionally, with AR technology, the tea utensils can be projected into the real world, enabling users to experience their actual scale and presence.
Behind every crafted piece lies the maker’s sincere engagement with nature, though this is rarely seen by customers. In this project, we captured Asahiyaki artisans in 360° video as they work with "clay" and "fire." This immersive experience allows customers to witness the craftsmanship first, guiding them toward purchasing the actual pieces afterward.
